IN SUMMARY: The Garden Route Sandcastle is a sea side Quest house situated in Vleesbaai, Mossel Bay area, Western Capte (South Africa) - self catering also available. Getaway for a perferct weekend or holiday, 2 minutes walk to the beach where you can enjoy hiking, surfing, swimming and fishing. Whale and dophin watching from your bedroom. Ideal venue for beach weddings and small functions. Play golf at Pinnacle Point, Fancourt or The Links. Take a safari at a nearby game farm with big 5 (35 km). Take on one of SA's top 10 4x4 trails over sand dunes - magnificent views (1 km) Fransmanshoek eco sanctuary (next to Vleesbaai) is famous for fishing and whale watching. LOCATION: The Garden Route Sandcastle offers accomodation in the Mossel Bay area, at the private beach resort Vleesbaai. The questhouse offers full catering, and certain units also have private self catering faciliteis if required. George Airport 80km away – shuttle service available PRIVATE BEACH RESORT: A 24 hour entrance ensures your safety. Take a 2 minute stroll along the boardwalk to the long stretch of unspoiled beach, very safe for swimming, surfing, boating and fishing. Several walking trails along the coast, as well as a 4x4 dune track ACCOMMODATION: Spacious bedroom suites complete with luxurious linen, towels and toiletries, with either a covered balcony or verandah mostly with a spectacular views of the ocean - where you can sit and have a sundowner, or watch the whales, dolphins and birds CATERING: Enjoy the stunning view of the ocean from the Balck Oystercatcher dining room where breakfast and dinner are served on request. Picnic baskets are available for lunch. Splendid cuisine selected from our menu. Private self catering facilities also available with a kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, microwave oven and all the necessary utensils, cutlery and crockery. Guests can also make use of several in and outdoor barbeque (braai) areas. A supermarket is within walking distance for food supplies and other necessities (limited busines hours - please enquire).
